Supporting Local Needy Causes

Local Charity Appeals
Like many businesses, Yeo Valley receives many requests for support from a wide ranging variety of charities, plus local and national organisation.  Sadly, our resources are not unlimited so we have to make sometimes difficult decisions on those which we can support.

We have decided that we will support charities, schools, churches and some village appeals local to us, with small amounts of money, or a small cool bag or two, filled with Yeo Valley produce, for raffle prizes or, very often, trays of products to use as ingredients for cooking, baking, picnics, teas or ploughmans.

Each request is considered on its merit and some have to be refused if it is felt they are too far away from Yeo Valley's sites or don't seem to fit the company's ethics and objectives.

Yeo Valley’s Main Charitable Support
Yeo Valley focuses its main charitable support on areas relating to children, health, education and the countryside within the local community in and around our farms and dairies in Somerset and Devon.

The core charity supported since 2004 is The Calvert Trust, with Children’s Hospice South West and the British Institute for Brain Injured Children also receiving Yeo Valley’s support.

Yeo Valley and Holt Farms also support WaterAid, Hop Skip & Jump and Farm Crisis Network, click on the PDF link below for more details.
