Caring For The Farm Environment

Care for the environment is very visible on all the farmland, with rebuilt dry stone walls, re-laid hedges and replanted woodlands providing natural habitats for wildlife. Thousands of native broadleaf trees and shrubs have been planted across the farm over the past few years.

A dedicated Conservation Manager heads up a dedicated team which looks after the farmland as well as the land surrounding the production and logistics sites in Yeo Valley. Green waste from all the sites – grass cuttings, tree prunings and hedge cuttings – is brought back to the farms for composting.
