‘Keep things as simple as you can’ is the rule at Yeo Valley so the production dairies concentrate on the key task of making great products. The head office, known as the Mendip Centre, looks after the ‘distractions’ of other business functions.

Blessed with one of the best views of any office in the country, the Mendip Centre was a disused teacher-training centre which Yeo Valley bought in 1999. Here the marketing and sales teams, the purchasing and central technical functions, the central engineering team, the product developers and the company directors work together. Their job is to support the activities of the other sites and to develop the company.

Busy but informal, the Mendip Centre operates an ‘open door’ policy and is the hub of Yeo Valley.
