The Organic Yogurt Capital Of Britain

The Cannington dairy has made cheese and other dairy products since the 1930's. Today it produces the Yeo Valley Organic's big-pot yogurts, as well as those for a number of retailer brands, plus the innovative Yeo's organic children's yogurt tubes.  Cannington has grown dramatically since its purchase from Dairy Crest in 1997.

The dairy's picturesque location - surrounded by organic meadows, close to the Quantock Hills - belie it's importance as a significant producer of quality yogurt.  It operates on a 24-hour a day, 7-day a week basis to meet demand, but its small-batch production methods ensure product quality is untarnished by modern 'processing aid' ingredients (they simply aren't necessary).
